We’re a young couple balancing the world of adulting and marriage, while simultaneously raising a teen and a toddler with two very different sets of needs and personalities. The Struggle is real at times fam.
Our love affair started in 2012 and was solidified in 2014. BUT, our most defining year has been 2018. That was the year we decided to do something that would change the trajectory of our future and our children’s future. We decided to live debt free! More recently (nothing like a pandemic to give you perspective), we decided to begin our wealth building journey and take YOU along for the ride.

Debt is the exciting life of blowing off real financial commitments like student loans to get that new car, rims, new iphone, new shoes, exotic vacations (You know that strategically photoshopped instgram trip with the one pose you have been practicing in private just for that trip), or the impulse shopping sprees.
It really is exciting to live in the moment, but when we go into debt for the moment, it’s really hard to get out of and impacts us down the line. We love this quote because of its simplicity. Just stop digging! As you journey with us, you will find that we will blog about lots of holes: finances, family, marriage, parenting, and parenting in a blended family.
